BENT STREET GARDEN
OUR STORY
Bent Street Garden is a personal project. The garden in Northcote was designed by Tim Pilgrim as part of a whole-home renovation and planted in May 2025. It covers three zones: a public nature strip, a street-facing front yard, and a private back garden.

Most renovations end at the back door. This one didn’t.

The plants are natives, ornamental grasses, and flowering perennials, chosen for ecological value as much as appearance. The nature strip is designed as public infrastructure: habitat and food for pollinators, connected to whatever else is growing along the street.

This site documents what was planted, why, and how it’s going. Not special. Just trying.
